These chocolate coconut bliss balls are super easy and absolutely delicious! They are the perfect healthy treat with enough cacao to satisfy your chocolate cravings. They took me less than 15 mins to make and are loaded with protein and antioxidants. Give them a try and see how easy they really are!

Choc-coconut bliss balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds

Method

Soak the dates for 15 mins to soften. While they are soaking, add the nuts, cacao, coconut oil, shredded coconut and chia seeds to your food processor and process until mixed well. Add the dates and mix again. Let the mixture sit for 10 mins, then roll into balls. Roll the balls in shredded coconut and refrigerate in an airtight container for up for 4 days. Makes 10-15 balls, depending on the size. Enjoy!

OPTIONS:

You can use any nut you like if you don’t have almonds. Add some vanilla or unflavoured protein powder if you want a protein boost. You could also add some mixed seeds if you desire.
